Position Overview
Amrit Ocean Resort & Residences is seeking a polished, proactive, and highly professional Security Supervisor to lead daily security operations across our luxury property. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests, residents, team members, and physical assets—while maintaining a discreet, service-oriented presence that reflects the elevated standards of our resort environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all daily security operations across the resort, including beach areas, residences, spa, and parking facilities
- Lead, train, and schedule Security Officers to ensure seamless 24/7 coverage and operational readiness
- Enforce access control procedures, vehicle registration, and parking policies with consistency and professionalism
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and guest or resident concerns with composure and sound judgment
- Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate safety risks or suspicious activity
- Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and reporting tools to ensure optimal functionality and usage
- Prepare and review incident reports, daily logs, and shift briefings with accuracy and attention to detail
- Coordinate with local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services as needed
- Provide security support for VIP arrivals, special events, and high-profile guests
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and local laws
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and exceptional guest service within the security team
- Lead emergency preparedness training and oversee response execution
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–10 years of security experience, including 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or residential setting strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of security operations, emergency response, and risk management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency in report writing and basic computer systems
- Valid Florida security license required; CPR/First Aid certification preferred
