Description

We're looking for a customer-obsessed Innovation Program Lead to drive customer impact through our innovation experiences — using Amazon culture and technology to help enterprise customers discover, invent, and build their way to production. This role is about delivering tangible business outcomes, helping customers realize value from their technology and AI investments by combining the best of how Amazon innovates with the power of AWS technology. You'll facilitate executive engagements, activate customers in partnership with field sales teams, build scalable mechanisms across our top customers, and lead the development of next-generation content. The nature of innovation is ever-changing, and this role requires someone who is deeply adaptable and energized by that pace of change.

Key job responsibilities
1. Customer Impact through Business, Technology & Culture Transformation
- Lead and facilitate executive-level innovation sessions that bring Amazon's culture of innovation — Working Backwards, customer obsession, bias for action — to life for customers. Create an environment where senior leaders engage deeply with new possibilities and leave with clear business outcomes in mind.
- Apply first-principles thinking to understand customers' most pressing challenges and translate those into actionable AI-driven solution pathways. Help customers adopt Amazon's innovation methods alongside AWS technology to drive real business results.
- Own the customer journey beyond the engagement — work closely with field sales teams to activate customers, drive solution adoption, and accelerate the path from idea to measurable business outcomes in production.
2. Mechanisms & Operational Excellence
- Design and implement scalable engagement frameworks. Leverage AI to streamline processes — from session preparation to insight capture — ensuring every customer interaction generates reusable learnings.
- Build the ability to scale innovation experiences across our top customers in the region, ensuring consistent quality and impact at volume while delivering business outcomes.
- Build strong operating interlocks with field sales teams, solutions architects, and partner organizations. Establish a clear operating model that makes it frictionless for account teams to activate customers into innovation experiences.
- Codify what works. Develop playbooks, templates, and tooling that enable other markets to replicate successful engagement patterns as the model expands across the region.
3. Content Leadership
- Build next-generation content modules focused on generative AI, agentic systems, and applied AI — grounded in Amazon's culture of innovation and maintained as a portfolio that is modular, industry-adaptable, and technically current.
- Elevate the delivery experience — integrate AI to personalize content in real-time, generate dynamic demonstrations, and create immersive customer experiences that bring Amazon culture and technology together in a way that sets us apart in the region.
- The nature of innovation is ever-changing. Maintain a forward-looking content roadmap, monitor industry signals, competitive moves, and customer patterns — and adapt quickly to ensure our offerings remain relevant as technology evolves.


About the team
The APJ Innovation and Engagement team is the pulse of innovation for AWS in the region. We design and deliver innovation experiences that bring Amazon's culture and technology to life — helping senior executives reimagine what's possible and chart a path from idea to production. Beyond delivery, we shape innovation strategy for APJ: identifying emerging technology trends, understanding how they intersect with customer needs across diverse markets, and translating that into experiences that drive real business outcomes. Our team works across 14 countries spanning vastly different industries, stages of cloud maturity, and competitive landscapes. We partner closely with field sales, solutions architecture, and specialist teams to activate customers and ensure every engagement moves the needle. We are builders at heart — constantly evolving our content, mechanisms, and delivery models to stay ahead of the pace of change in AI and technology innovation.
