Description

Do you have a solid procurement background, excel at program and stakeholder management, and thrive in a fast-paced environment?
We are hiring a Program Manager - Procurement Excellence to work closely with procurement stakeholders, operations, functions, systems and engineering to enable scalable, well-controlled business processes and decision-making.
This role sits within a broader team of program managers that operates as highly embedded business partners to procurement, focused on operational effectiveness and impact, scalable mechanisms, and risk-informed execution.

Over time, this role has opportunity to evolve toward broader technical program management style leadership responsibilities.

• Simplify and modernize existing processes to align with evolving business needs and risk appetite.
• Ensure controls are operationally practical and embedded into day-to-day workflows.
Business Process & Mechanism Ownership
• Identify process gaps, friction points, and operational inefficiencies across programs and workflows.
• Build mechanisms, playbooks, decision frameworks, and scalable patterns that improve consistency and reduce ambiguity.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across governance, operational readiness, and execution processes.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Audit Readiness
• Act as a business partner to Procurement teams and a key coordination point across Risk, Audit, Assurance, Legal, Technical and Engineering teams.
• Streamline audit readiness and evidence gathering through scalable operational processes rather than manual coordination.
• Ensure teams have clarity on ownership, expectations, and escalation paths.
Technical & Operational Collaboration
• Engage effectively with technical teams by understanding system architecture, workflows, dependencies, and operational trade-offs.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure controls and operational requirements are designed into solutions early.
• Use data and operational signals to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
What good looks like for this role:
• Procurement teams and functional partners proactively engage you as a trusted partner early in planning and execution.
• Decisions move faster because of your involvement, not slower.
• Processes become simpler, clearer, and more scalable over time.
• Risk Management and controls are embedded into operational workflows rather than managed as separate activities.
• Stakeholders experience clear ownership, practical guidance, and streamlined engagement across governance functions.
What We Are Not Looking For
• Purely policy or checklist-driven approaches.
• Candidates who operate primarily through approvals or gatekeeping or arm's length approach
