RN, Pre-Admission Testing (Full Time Days)

The Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and completing the preoperative assessment process for patients scheduled to undergo surgical or procedural interventions. The PAT RN ensures that patients are medically optimized and prepared for surgery by completing comprehensive nursing assessments, reviewing diagnostic testing, coordinating with physicians and ancillary departments, and providing patient education.

The PAT RN plays a critical role in reducing surgical delays and cancellations by identifying potential clinical risks prior to the day of surgery and ensuring all required documentation, laboratory testing, and clearances are completed in advance
