Alan B. Miller Medical Center opening in Spring 2026!
A neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence! The new state-of-the-art hospital will join UHS’ growing regional network of healthcare operations which includes Wellington Regional Medical Center, the ER at Westlake (an extension of Wellington Regional Medical Center), Wellington Physicians Urgent Care and other healthcare services and access points. The Alan B. Miller Medical Center will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building and a helistop. Upon completion of the initial phase of the project, the hospital campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space. The new Medical Center will offer comprehensive medical services including Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neurosurgical services. In addition, the campus will be home to medical office buildings that will provide outpatient services.
Pharmacist, Nights
Staff Clinical Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling, and teaching. Staff Clinical Pharmacists fill orders for medications, monitor patients drug therapies and provide drug information. Staff Clinical Pharmacist supervises and directs supportive staff. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, a staff Clinical Pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Pharmacist In Charge.

Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy.
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) strongly preferred.
- PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency training preferred.
Experience:
- Acute care experience preferred.
- IV Room Compounding experience preferred.
- Pyxis experience with knowledge of Pyxis Reports (i.e., optimization, load/unload, nursing narcotic access, etc.)
- Knowledgeable of and complies with laws, rules and regulations that govern the practice of pharmacy.
Skills:
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective interpersonal skills with patients, coworkers, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities.
- Ability to maintain department workflow and provide oversight and direction to pharmacy technicians.
- Ability to escalate safety concerns, propose action plans, and follow Chain-of Command.
License / Certification:
- Current license to practice as a Pharmacist in the State of Florida is required.
- Board Certification preferred.
