Agile Scrum Leader

Summary:
We are looking for a servant-leader Scrum Lead to support an Agile Team operating within our Salesforce - Scaled Agile Release Train (ART) using the SAFe framework. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced enterprise environment, drives predictable delivery, protects team commitments, and is passionate about relentless improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities: Lead & Protect the Team
- Serve as the Scrum Lead and servant leader for a Salesforce Agile Team within the ART.
- Protect the team from external disruptions and prevent unplanned work assignments.
- Hold the team accountable to sprint commitments and delivery timelines.
- Drive completion of work items by expected close dates.
Facilitate & Enable Agile Excellence
- Facilitate all team ceremonies including Iteration Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives.
- Support Product Owner in Sprint Planning, Demo readiness, and story refinement.
- Govern Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).
- Enforce Scrum XP practices and 'ADT - Way' delivery patterns.
- Attend and contribute to Scrum of Scrums, PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt (I&A), and ART Reviews.
- Facilitate Monthly Release night bridge calls for the Scrum team based on monthly release deliverables and scope.
Drive Predictability & Transparency
- Monitor progress against Iteration Goals and PI Objectives.
- Track ART Predictability Measures, Team Velocity, Capacity & WIP, Cost of Delay, PI Readiness, and Expected Value vs. Delivered Value.
- Maintain Jira dashboards and ensure backlog and story hygiene.
- Track and escalate impediments proactively.
- Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and opportunities.
- Escalate non-production environment issues to DevOps/Configuration Management.
Build Culture & Continuous Improvement
- Mediate between Product Owner and Delivery Team.
- Foster collaboration, team identity, and high engagement.
- Drive relentless improvement through retrospectives and data-driven insights.
- Communicate transparently with the RTE and leadership.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years in Agile delivery environments.
- 2+ years as Scrum Master or Scrum Lead in a scaled Agile environment.
- Strong experience working within an Agile Release Train (ART).
- Deep understanding of Agile values, principles, and SAFe.
- Experience facilitating PI Planning and Scrum of Scrums.
- Strong conflict resolution, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Jira metrics, dashboards, velocity tracking, and burndown analysis.
- Ability to say 'No' using data to justify decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Advanced Scrum Master certification.
- SPC Certified (Nice to have).
- Experience in enterprise Agile transformations.
- Exposure to DevOps coordination and environment management.
- Experience with Salesforce platforms CPQ,SFSC ( A huge plus).
